Registration for Comprehensive Five-Day Class
The five-day class is no longer available because the Family History Training Center has been closed.
Overview
The comprehensive five-day class is held every four or five weeks throughout the year. This is training available to anyone interested in family history, and is particularly helpful for those with family history callings in their wards and stakes.
Class topics cover both the research and computer aspects of family history work, including the research process, various genealogy data management programs, FamilySearch, and clearing names for the temple. Most classes are followed by a hands-on laboratory period with one-on-one training for each student.
Attendees are encouraged to bring any of their own Family History information with them. A temple trip to do sealings takes place on the last day of class.
